We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted again by CIBSE for two Awards. The CIBSE Building Performance Awards recognise the people, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence in the built environment. The Awards focus on actual, measured performance, not design intent or performance specifications.

This great scheme has been shortlisted for the Commercial/Industrial Project of the Year which recognises the new build or refurbishment of a Commercial or Industrial building that most effectively demonstrates high levels of user satisfaction and comfort whilst delivers outstanding measured building performance, energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions. The building proudly incorporates many of these attributes and even boasts a BREEAM Excellent certificate to underpin its sustainability credentials. The speculative office development, which is located within Oxfordshire’s Science Vale UK Enterprise Zone was delivered on programme, below budget and is an exemplary case study of best practice and a worthy nominee for this prestigious award. The success of the project is a result of best practice collaboration between MEPC, design team and contractor. Click here for project profile.

Representing our international portfolio and as part of the Integral group the David and Lucile Packard Foundation Headquarters has been shortlisted in International Project of the Year which recognises the same attributes on an international scale. This complex project was one of the USA’s first large-scale net zero energy buildings. Designed to be a replicable zero energy building, while providing superior comfort, acoustics, and overall occupant satisfaction, the project has received LEED Platinum certification, as well as a net zero certification by the International Living Future Institute. This shows our commitment to ensuring our projects are at the forefront of innovation and we thank the CIBSE judging panel for recognising our focus on performance and tangible post occupancy analysis”.

The winners will be announced at the official awards dinner at the Grosvenor Hotel in February 2016.
