American Heritage Apartments

American Heritage Apartments was built originally as the American National Bank. Doubled in size in 1905, the building now has fourteen levels: two floors of retail, one floor of office space, and the balance is residential. This historic high-rise office space was renovated into apartments consisting of 57 flats (80,000 ft²) on the 3rd through 11th floors, as well as 30,000 ft² of retail and office space in the basement through the 2nd floor. Concrete-encased steel columns, beams, concrete, and wood floor structures with steel stud construction were used, and split system heat pumps were utilized for the HVAC system.
