This substantial scheme involves the creation of a 3 storey mixed use development which incorporates a 456 unit state of the art student accommodation facility, 45,000 ft² CAT A office space and spacious retail unit. The student accommodation will include a gymnasium and resident cinema.

Elementa are working closely with the design team to deliver the clients brief and engage with all stakeholders to ensure a sustainable and successful outcome for all.

Elementa’s involvement on this project consists of all mechanical, electrical, public health design including full above ground drainage. Elementa are leading coordination of the site wide services distribution as well as providing overheating report and Part L analysis.

The project is to achieve a BREEAM very good rating with green roofs, cycle storage, landscaped courtyards. Sustainable technologies include; photovoltaics for the office space and the use of fully modular prefabricated bathrooms and inclusion of combined heat and power for the student accommodation block.

The site is within a 5-10 walk of Universities such as City University, London Metropolitan University and CASS Business School.
