The Concordia Hotel

Integral Group provided a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering building facility assessment, including a review of the existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment for the Concordia Hotel. The team identified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment that did not meet current code requirements; we identified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment that had safety concerns, and assembled our findings in a report.

The Concordia/Bond complex consisted of a 10-story private hotel located at 1250 New Hampshire Avenue in Washington, DC. The complex included two adjoining buildings (the Bond Building and the Concordia Building) collectively known as the Concordia Apartment Building. The property comprised a total of 178 rooms. Construction of the Bond Building was completed in the 1920s, with the construction of the Concordia Building occurring in the 1960s. The team’s report preempted decisions leading to the renovation of the building.
