David has over 20 years of extensive experience in the building services industry in North America and Europe. As a Managing Director, his responsibilities include strategic planning, sustainability research, peer review, conceptual design, and interdisciplinary coordination. David shares his in-depth knowledge with various public and private advisory boards, and has contributed to programs for the US Department of Energy (DOE) and the CEC’s Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program. He has played a vital role in several award-winning lighting design projects and has been recognized by the National Register of Peer Professionals. David is often sought after as a presenter and has delivered various presentations on sustainable electrical design at conferences and universities throughout North America.

The San Jose Design Studio is located near downtown San Jose, within the Willow Glen area in south San Jose. The San Jose office building is the first certified zero energy building, and was used as a showcase by the mayor to show ambition of goals for environmental protection and economic development. The building has many save energy features to it, and was recently has been recertified for the Santa Clara County Green Business program, and is also LEED Platinum certified. San Jose office culture is very casual, and more family type environment, with different backgrounds both professionally and personally.
