Bulmershe School Sixth Form + Administration Building

The project involves the construction of a new two-story sixth form and administration building on the existing school grounds. The new facility includes a main hall, classrooms, breakout/social space, and administration areas.

Elementa Consulting provided the project mechanical, electrical, and public health design. This includes hot/cold water, heating, ventilation, energy, security, data, public health, and low-energy lighting design. The scope for sustainability was to provide a 10% reduction in CO₂ from low-carbon technologies.

A dynamic thermal model was produced to optimize the passive building design and analyze renewable technology options. The final renewable technology solution consisted of roof-mounted photovoltaic panels.
