Hotel Du Vin | Newcastle

Hotel Du Vin Newcastle comprised the conversion of the 1908 Tyne Tees Steam Ship Company headquarters into 42 eclectically-styled bedrooms and luxury suites with Hotel Du Vin’s unique bathroom ensuites. The hotel includes bistro, bar, private dining rooms and meeting rooms, wine cellar with Laroche tasting table and an outdoor area for alfresco dining with a bothy lodge.

Our work on this project included: provision of all mechanical and electrical services (including full air conditioning, public health services, and low energy lighting); energy saving strategies considered included solar panel hot water generation, rainwater harvesting system and grey water recycling. Specialist services included IT services for high-speed interactive digital satellite TV, high quality music systems and internet. Elementa worked closely with the interior designer, client, and design team to realize the brand vision.
