Institute of Reproductive Sciences
This project involved the construction of a purpose-built facility for a world-class fertility unit and reproductive research unit. This building is the first purpose-designed Clinical Research facility for IVF treatments and is based on German exemplar facilities.
The Oxford Fertility Unit is a national and international leader in research into fertility, and the new Institute of Reproductive Science (IRS) is a cutting-edge research and development unit and a teaching facility for the University of Oxford. In combination with the University, the center will also house a Master of Science course for students in reproductive biology.
Our work on this project included: mechanical and electrical services, including heating, hot and cold water, air conditioning, ventilation, above-ground drainage, electrical power, lighting and data, fire alarms, medical gases and security, site services diversions, low-energy and sustainability, and thermal modeling.
