Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is hosting the Why Zero Carbon? Comparing Zero Carbon to Other Standards event at HCMA Architecture + Design‘s Vancouver office. This event is targeted towards young soon-to-be professionals, building industry experts and everyone in between to discuss all things zero carbon: What is Zero Carbon, and why are green building standards focusing on zero carbon goals?
Integral Group is proud to be represented by Jeremy Field who will be one of two speakers at this event. As Emerging Green Professional (EGP) committee members, Jeremy Field and Gagan Singh from the Vancouver sustainability team were involved in the organization of this event.

Learn why carbon will be the key metric used to guide future building designs, how emissions from buildings are evaluated, and why controlling emissions is important for the development industry. Then, explore the concept of a “Zero Carbon” building and how it relates to other leading green building frameworks such as LEED V4.1, Passivehouse, WELL, and the BC Energy Step Code.
