City of Vancouver | Meet the Public Space Makers

As part of the Lumiere Vancouver, this speaker series will take place at Lumiere tent in Jim Deva Plaza.

This event will examine how Vancouver’s public spaces function, who its public space makers are, the kind of public spaces needed in Downtown Vancouver, and how better programming can help public enjoyment of those spaces year-round. 

Meet the Public Space Makers will bring together some of Vancouver’s top public space activators for a fun and creative speaker series on the topic of public life in a rainy city. The event will be moderated by Jenniffer Scheel, City of Vancouver’s Manager of Street Activities.
