Lisa Westerhoff to Speak at CaGBC Zero Carbon Building Workshop
Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is hosting the Zero Carbon Building Standard Workshop at Stantec‘s Victoria office. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a session on CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building (ZCB) Standard, and educate attendees on energy vs. carbon in the context of a carbon-focused building performance standard. It will also delve into the ZCB framework and its importance in the industry. The course will cover information on both ZCB-Design and ZCB-Performance streams of the Standard.

Lisa joined Integral Group’s Research and Planning team after completing her PhD in urban sustainability at UBC. She now brings her expertise in climate change, sustainability and resilience planning to her work with academic, government, and private sector actors. Lisa works at multiple scales on projects ranging from the creation of zero emissions buildings plans, to sustainable neighbourhood and green building post-occupancy evaluations, to the design of city-wide climate and energy strategies.
Lisa is experienced in the design and implementation of community and stakeholder engagement strategies. An excellent writer and communicator, Lisa’s background makes her highly proficient in integrating and communicating ideas from across diverse sectors and disciplines. Lisa is also a EcoDistricts Accredited Professional and holds a Master’s degree in climate change resilience and adaptation.
