Canada Post Takes Off at Vancouver International Airport

The new Canada Post Processing Centre at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is officially open. Located at 5940 Ferguson Road, the 700,000 sq. ft. center is Canada Post’s third major hub for distributing and processing international mail, with Toronto and Montreal filling the other two spots.

On average, the new Vancouver facility processes over four million pieces of mail and parcels per day. It was designed to consolidate and update the infrastructure of Canada Post and incorporate efficient and sustainable design into the space. The location was strategically chosen close to the airport to reduce transportation costs of delivering mail to processing centers.

Designed by Kasian Architecture Interior Design & Planning, Integral Group provided mechanical engineering and energy modeling consulting services for the new Canada Post Processing Centre.
