Integral Group Receive Multiple First Place ASHRAE Chapter Awards
Three Integral Group projects have been awarded First Place at the ASHRAE Golden Gate Chapter Technology Awards.
Woodside Priory School features a new STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, and math) classroom building and residential faculty building on the campus that seamlessly blend into the surrounding landscape. Our aim was to provide beautiful, healthy, and energy-efficient spaces for Woodside’s learning community to grow and flourish.
The historic Cowell Hay Barn at UC Santa Cruz was dismantled and reconstructed over a new foundation, re-using as much of the original materials as possible. The barn was constructed by hand using the art of mortise and tenon joinery with wooden pegs, an uncommon technique in California.
Integral Group performed MEP engineering services, energy modeling, and LEED and sustainability consulting for the new office interiors at the Summit Foundation. The project includes high efficiency LED lighting and controls, daylight optimization with automated shade controls, glass for internal walls of perimeter offices for maximized daylight penetration, and an educational display which allows occupants to monitor building performance and comfort conditions.
Congratulations to Integral employees Jennifer Ma, Shannon Allison, Nicole Crone and the full design teams on their achievements!
