Integral Group Announces Recent California Project Award Wins
Integral Group is thrilled to announce fourth quarter honors from various respected industry groups in California including the American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles, Engineering News-Record California, New Buildings Institute and the San Diego Green Building Council.
Our end-of-year suite of awards include the following:
2019 ZNE School Leadership Awards / New Building Institute
With more than 80 Zero Net Energy (ZNE) schools in operation or planned, California is leading the ZNE push for educational institutes. New Buildings Institute (NBI) has honored the leadership of these ZNE projects in category by Individual & Team, Districts, and Outstanding Buildings.
Mark Day School, an independent K-8 school in Marin County, received the 2019 Outstanding Buildings Award for its fully operating Zero Net Energy structure.
Best Project North, K-12 Education / Engineering News-Record California
Every year, Engineering News-Record (ENR) California judges a variety of projects submitted by A/E/C industry leaders to determine their definition of best-in-class. This year ENR California awarded 54 honors for the region, including two Integral Group projects.
Lick Wilmerding High School, a private intercity high school, was awarded for Best Project North in the K-12 category.
Cal Poly Pomona Student Services Building was awarded the Merit Award – South in Higher Education/Research.
2019 Sustainability Award / San Diego Green Building Council (SDGBC)
The annual SDGBC awards recognize distinguished achievement and quality design in registered (unbuilt), registered (built) or certified (built) LEED BD+C projects.
J.Craig Venter Institute received this year’s Sustainability award, celebrating the LEED Platinum certified, Zero Net Energy and Zero Net Carbon designed building.
2019 AIA|LA Design Awards / The Association of Architects (AIA), Los Angeles
With a competitive playing field and high prestige, the Association of Architects annually awards built work with a great level of sustainably and environmental performance in the annual Design Awards.
Cal Poly Pomona Student Services Building also received the Honor Award in Typology: Educational in conjunction with CO Architects.
The new state-of-the-art training facility, Mo Ostin Basketball Center at UCLA, was awarded the Merit Award in Typology: Educational
