Brisbane Baylands

The City of Brisbane hired Integral Group to develop the Sustainability Action Plan for the Brisbane Baylands development, a 684-acre site of a new mixed-use development that will include residential and commercial spaces, as well as a cleantech development center in Brisbane. The City is pursuing the site’s development to One Planet Living standards and LEED-ND Platinum targets.

The Brisbane Baylands provides a comprehensive program for the planning area along with goals, policies, and development standards to guide future public and private actions relating to the area’s development, creating a public open space network, and re-establishment of healthy ecological functions. The Brisbane Baylands Specific Plan also identifies necessary infrastructure and circulation improvements to accommodate proposed growth and a strategy for ensuring coordinated implementation.
