De La Salle High School | STREAM Innovation Center
The new STREAM (science, technology, robotics, engineering, arts, and math) Innovation Center at De La Salle High School contains state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories that facilitate adaptive learning opportunities. Integral Group provided this project’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services and commissioning.
We designed in-slab radiant systems throughout the building for energy-efficient heating and cooling. The increased surface area of the radiant floor and exposed in-slab ceiling at De La Salle improve the heating and cooling capacity of the radiant system. It makes the interior spaces more thermally comfortable.
The heating and cooling systems employ energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) to increase energy efficiency. Integral Group also designed a dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) which separates the exhaust air from the outside air used for ventilation, so the supply air is cleaner and never composed of mixed or recirculated air.
