Lululemon Store Support Center
Lululemon is designing a new 13-story global headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, to reflect the company’s focus on an active, healthy lifestyle and fitness. Integral Group is collaborating with the company to align sustainability, health, and well-being metrics to the company’s target audience via education, consulting, and documentation.
The building’s design will showcase how healthy spaces promoting occupant wellness contribute to a more sustainable built environment. The design incorporates access to daylight, green spaces, landscaped terraces, and retail and restaurant space on the ground level. This design focuses on energy, climate, and water; materials, waste, and chemicals; human well-being; and community resilience. The team will achieve this via amenities that encourage health and wellness, infrastructure that enables and inspires sustainable living (social and environmental), and clean air, water, energy, and climate for the building.
Our holistic and evidence-based approach to this new headquarters will inform the creation of a highly sustainable and healthy building to create the healthiest working environment throughout their whole property portfolio.
Integral Group will also provide documentation on how the analysis informed the resulting design and form of the building so that the team can better replicate the analyses on future projects for the client. The project has ambitious targets for LEED Platinum, WELL, and Zero Carbon certifications. In addition, Integral Group developed the overall approach for biophilic design, integration of healthy materials, mechanical and plumbing design engineering, and energy and thermal comfort modeling.
