Kingston University | Student Services Centre
This project comprised the refurbishment and remodeling of the existing services on the ground floor of the John Galsworthy Building. The area was being used as a temporary Learning Resource Centre, which was vacated following the completion of a new faculty building. The project consisted of an open plan office for Student Services staff, six private meeting rooms, an informal meeting space, and student IT facilities.
Elementa Consulting provided mechanical, electrical, and public health services for this project. As the project was one floor of the existing building, it was essential to integrate with the current services to ensure the functionality of the building. Elementa Consulting identified the threats and risks of the project at an early stage to inform the design from the outset.
